Little Scallywags boasts a lovely large grassed and paved outdoor area which the children can explore, during any weather as waterproofs and wellies are provided. The children can enjoy and access rich stimulating experiences, throughout the year. We believe that playing outside is vital for young children as it supports their social and emotional well being by providing space, nature, choice and freedom.

Offering a well planned and resourced environment, we provide ideal opportunities for children to develop a healthy sense of self through various learning experiences. The Pre-school and Toddler room have direct access to this outdoor area and the under 2’s enjoy their own outdoor play area.
